This nasheed is a poem of gratitude for the immense favor of Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ. He is the greatest favor and mercy that Allah has bestowed upon His creation, especially upon those who believe in Him.
The nasheed reflects upon some of the unique qualities and distinctions of our beloved Prophet ﷺ—those qualities that set him apart from all other creation and reveal his exalted rank as Allah’s most beloved and most honored servant.
Through these verses, we express our gratitude to Allah for the blessing of His Beloved Prophet ﷺ and celebrate the unparalleled honor, mercy, beauty, and perfection that Allah placed within him.

‘Alḥamdu-lillah, – Allah ﷻ
Wa shukru-lillah – Allah ﷻ
For Rasulillah ﷺ,
Sayyidna Al- Muṣtafā ﷺ
‘Alḥamdu-lillah, – Allah ﷻ
Wa shukru-lillah – Allah ﷻ
For Ħabibillah ﷺ,
Sayyidna ‘l-Muṣtafā ﷺ
We thank You, our Lord — Allah ﷻ
With love and gratitude — Allah ﷻ
For creating the Beloved ﷺ
Sayyidna Al-Mustapha ﷺ
We thank You, our Lord — Allah ﷻ
For the mercy You’ve bestowed — Allah ﷻ
Upon all the worlds
Through Sayyidna Al-Mustapha ﷺ
‘Alḥamdu-lillah, – Allah ﷻ
Wa shukru-lillah – Allah ﷻ
For Rasulillah ﷺ,
Sayyidna Al- Muṣtafā ﷺ
‘Alḥamdu-lillah, – Allah ﷻ
Wa shukru-lillah – Allah ﷻ
For Ħabibillah ﷺ,
Sayyidna ‘l-Muṣtafā ﷺ
We know You through Your signs - Allah ﷻ
Through Your signs, Your greatness shines - Allah ﷻ
And the greatest of Your signs
Is Sayyidna Al-Mustapha
Greater than all creation
Is the creator of all creation
And the greatest in His creation
Is Sayyidna Al-Mustapha ﷺ
‘Alḥamdu-lillah, – Allah ﷻ

For Rasulillah ﷺ,
Sayyidna Al- Muṣtafā ﷺ

On the Tablet, by the Pen — Allah ﷻ
On the Throne and in heavens — Allah ﷻ

Sallu ‘ala ‘l-Muṣtafā ﷺ
In shahadah and in salah — Allah ﷻ
La ilaha illal-lah — Allah
Muħammad ﷺ Rasulullah

‘Alḥamdu-lillah, – Allah ﷻ
Wa shukru-lillah – Allah ﷻ
For Rasulillah ﷺ,
Sayyidna Al- Muṣtafā ﷺ

We love You for You - Allah ﷻ

It is one love, not two,
When we love ‘l-Muṣtafā ﷺ
Your love is his love - Allah ﷻ
His love is Your love - Allah ﷻ
Allah is whom we love
When we love ‘l-Muṣtafā ﷺ

For Rasulillah ﷺ,
Sayyidna Al- Muṣtafā ﷺ
‘Alḥamdu-lillah, – Allah ﷻ
Wa shukru-lillah – Allah ﷻ

Sayyidna ‘l-Muṣtafā ﷺ
It is Allah we obey, — Allah ﷻ
When His Messenger we obey — Allah ﷻ
How can then anyone say
Disregard ‘l-Muṣtafā ﷺ
There is only one door — Allah ﷻ
Leading to Allah’s pleasure — Allah ﷻ
And the key to that door
Is Sayyidna ‘l-Muṣtafā ﷺ
‘Alḥamdu-lillah, – Allah ﷻ
Wa shukru-lillah – Allah ﷻ
For Rasulillah ﷺ,
Sayyidna Al- Muṣtafā ﷺ
‘Alḥamdu-lillah, – Allah ﷻ
Wa shukru-lillah – Allah ﷻ

Sayyidna ‘l-Muṣtafā ﷺ
“When you threw you did not throw, - Allah ﷻ
It was Allah who did throw” - Allah ﷻ
Allah’s deputy through and through
Is sayyidna ‘l-Muṣtafā ﷺ
He wants what Allah wants, - Allah ﷻ
He does what Allah wants - Allah ﷻ
Allah will give him what he wants,
Just to please His Muṣtafā ﷺ
‘Alḥamdu-lillah, – Allah ﷻ
Wa shukru-lillah – Allah ﷻ
For Rasulillah ﷺ,
Sayyidna Al- Muṣtafā ﷺ

No Muslim would ever, - Allah ﷻ
Ever consider that he’s other - Allah ﷻ
Than Allah’s servant and messenger

But a servant like no other - Allah ﷻ
Most distinguished and honored - Allah ﷻ
Master over all others,
